Duat Descent

Fall 2023 // Prompt was to create original immersive experience within 20k sq/ft of conditioned space that would last guests 45min-2hrs. Duat Descent is a guided immersive theatrical experience combining live performance, exploration, and horror leading to a decision-based ending. When you are invited to be the first to explore the recently unearthed rooms of a lost Egyptian temple, one member of your party is kidnapped! Following them down, you find yourself in the maze of the Egyptian underworld. Your ability to effectively interact with your environment will decide everyone’s fate…will you be thrust back into the world of the living one party member short, or share a drink with the gods?
